I had high hopes for this novel. As a lover of Dracula and literally any other vampire story, I thought this would be an interesting read about Lucy. Unfortunately, it was a let down.
The plot was very ho hum, and at times incredibly hard to follow. I did not understand how Lucy was able to control...dust? And I didnt get why the author kept what Bee was exactly so secretive. Like just come out and say what she is so I don't have to feel like I'm guessing the whole time.
I liked the moral of the story about the two women overcoming the monsters that made them, but that's all I really liked.
I think this was meant to be more of a literature piece and it just didn't work for me.
